SPECIAL NOTES:
For all installations where the resolution of the B/W image, and clarity of text information is of
primary importance (most all cases) a video input selection (as specified in the table above),
with the “COLOR” function configured as
OFF
. The one compromise will be a slightly
“blocky” appearance for the Color flow in the ROI.
In special cases where this slight “blockiness” of the Color Flow image is unacceptable, and
there is a willingness to accept a reduced resolution within the B/W image and text, the
“COLOR” function should be configured as
ON
.

Install cable exit port rubber grommet (30223) in the following location, at the top/right of the
backpack (as viewed from the rear).

Install the cable inlet port rubber grommet (30238) in the hole in the sheet metal, at the
left/front (as viewed from front of system) of the backpack.

Using the Philips screwdriver (provided in the kit), remove the four screws that retain the
plastic feet to the bottom of the UP-897MD printer, but
DO
NOT
remove the rubber feet from
to the base of the printer.
16.
Lay the printer mounting bracket (31884) against the bottom surface of the printer (as shown),
aligning the holes in the plate with the four feet on the printer.
