Description :
Two status LEDs, and the optical sensor for Scan Engine detection, are the primary active
components on the Scan Engine Interface board. This board is mounted at the bottom of the
Scan Engine pocket and contains the interface connector that’s engaged with the Scan Engine’s
mating connector, when the Scan Engine is docked into the SuperCart.
The primary signals routed through connectors on the Scan Engine Interface board, are:

HSSL (High Speed Serial Link) Scan Engine/SuperCart communications interface
•
USB Scan Engine/SuperCart interface
•
Scan Detect optical sensor input
•
Scan Release optical sensor input
•
+12V (VDock) voltage to Scan Engine
11.2.2 Electro and Mechanical Assemblies
1. Brake Mechanism
Description :
The front wheels on the SuperCart can be prevented from rolling, and locked in 90 degree angled
detents, via the brake/lock mechanism located at the front of the SuperCart. A flexible metal
cable provides a link between the push-pedal (depressed by the User) and the individual front
wheel locking mechanisms.
