16.4.4 FTP Remote Access Configuration: (Zonare Support)
NOTE :
Normally these three parameters (IP Address, User Name, and Password) will already be configured
properly into the entry boxes, as this is automatically setup at the time of initial software installation on the
Scan Engine. You may therefore bypass this step initially, and only return to the configuration process IF it
is found that the values entered are not allowing FTP access.
1. On the Diagnostic page, in the “ZONARE SUPPORT” area on the screen, ensure that the
following FTP remote access parameters are configured for the proper serial number of the
Scan Engine in the
Z.ONE.

IP Address: (for Zonare FTP Site) .......................... 12.40.200.87

User Name (scanner serial #): ..................................
1xxx
(XXXX being the 4 digits prior to the
“S” in the Scan Engine’s serial number
- e.g. 1020, 1035)

Password:................................................................... support
2. Using the Menu Control scroll down to backlight the APPLY selection, then press the
“SELECT” button to save the updated settings
16.4.5 AUTOMATIC System Log Files – Download to ZONARE
NOTES :
The capturing of System Log files consists of the
z.one
creating a”LOG” directory, and
writing the log file(s), to the internal CompactFlash storage inside the Scan Engine.
Therefore it is necessary to have a USB Memory Stick, with adequate storage space,
installed in the Scan Engine at all times.
Log files are automatically created whenever the zone reboots after a system failure/crash.
The transfer of these system crash log file can assist Zonare engineering in diagnosing the
root cause of the problem.
