16.4.9 Remote Software Upgrade (download) from ZONARE site
NOTES
:
It will be necessary to contact Zonare Technical Support, to acquire a unique user name
and password (for each serial number
Z.ONE
) in setting up each remote software upgrade
session
.
The
Z.ONE
(SuperCart) will need to be attached to an active direct internet accessible
connection, at the install site, in order to perform this remote software upgrade procedure.
1.
Dock the Scan Engine in the SuperCart, and ensure the network port on the Rear I/O panel of the
SuperCart is connected to an active internet connection
2.
Insert a blank USB Memory Stick (CF) into the CF drive at the back of the Scan Engine
3.
Power on the system and allow it to fully boot
4.
Go to the” User Diagnostic Panel” page, and in the “
Zonare Support
” window, enter the IP
Address, User Name, and Password provided by Tech Support
5.
Click on the
CHECK
softkey to open remote communications for determining the available
software for upgrade
6.
To begin the remote software downloading process, click on the
UPGRADE
softkey
7.
At the completion of the downloading of the software installation files to the local USB Memory
Stick, the system will automatically begin the software upgrade/installation process
8.
Respond accordingly to accept the prompt messages for a normal software installation, to perform
the software upgrade process
