Description

: 

The Backplane board contains no active components.  The Backplane board is comprised of a 
chassis mounted assembly that provides a series of connectors for the interconnectivity of 
electronic signals and voltages within the SuperCart.  The Backplane board contains the multi-
pin connector where the Main/I/O board assembly plugs into the SuperCart. 

The following cables are connected, and carry their signals, via the Backplane board: 

•

 

HSSL (High Speed Serial Link) cable from Scan Engine Interface board 

•

 

SVGA video cable to the SuperCart LCD Display 

•

 

S-Video cable to the SuperCart LCD Display 

•

 

Composite video cable to the SuperCart LCD Display 

•

 

+12V source power to the SuperCart LCD Display 

•

 

Speaker (L/R) audio cable 

•

 

User Interface (keyboard) signal interconnect cable 

•

 

DC Power Supply distribution (+12V/20a, 12V/6a, +5V)
