2. Press the “SET” button
3. Type in the 35 character, daily service password (provided by ZONARE Tech Support), for the
specific serial number

4. Place the arrow cursor over the Apply softkey, and press the “SET” button
5. The system will exit from the Diagnostic page, and store the password for enabling re-entry for
the remaining calendar day
6. Repeat the steps for re-accessing the “ Diagnostic ” page
16.4.10.2 Utilizing the “System Console”
1. Using the trackball, position the arrow cursor over the System Console box
2. Press the “SET” button
NOTE: If using the Scan Engine standalone (undocked from SuperCart), it will be necessary to
first activate the VKB (virtual keyboard), for entries/commands in the System Console.
3. IF using the Scan Engine standalone, highlight the “KEYBOARD” item in the menu, and press
the “SELECT” key to activate
NOTE : If using the Scan Engine standalone (undocked from the SuperCart), the “TAB” softkey (in the
VKB) is used to scroll the contents of System Console display downwards, for viewing.
4. Using the keyboard (or VKB with a stylus, on the Scan Engine), advanced commands can be
entered, as directed by ZONARE Technical Support. The “Enter” key on the VKB is used for
activating commands entered on the command line.
