8. Connecting a host computer
As a standard feature, the robot controller has an RS-232C interface port for data communication
with a host computer. Most computer models having an RS-232C port can be interfaced to the
robot controller, by connecting the COM connector on the front of the robot controller to the RS-
232C port of the computer using a communication cable.
For more detailed information on the RS-232C interface, see "RS-232C INTERFACE" in Chapter 8.
