6) Clamp the motor wire on the motor wire bracket A using
the tie-wrap band.
• When a new tie-wrap bend is used to clamp the motor
wire, cut off the excess of the band at 3 - 5 mm
(0.1 - 0.2 in) from the fastener end.
7) Clamp the motor wire on the motor wire bracket B at the
two points using the harness band clips.
• When the new harness band clips are used to clamp the
motor wire, cut off the excess of the band at 3 - 5 mm
(0.1 - 0.2 in) from the fastener end.
8) Pour the ATF into the oil tank until the ATF flows out of the
oil filler port of the oil tank.
Tighten the oil hole cap to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 1.1 N.m (0.1 kgf.m, 0.8 lbf.ft)
9) After assembly, perform air bleeding (P. 14-33) and
hydraulic pressure inspection (P. 14-36).
Install the power trim/tilt assembly on the outboard motor
(P. 14-39).
