6) Holding the 12 x 162 mm hex bolt with a wrench or
equivalent tool, remove the 12 mm self-locking nut and the
12 mm washer [large], then remove the 12 x 162 mm hex
bolt and the 12 mm washer [small].
7) Remove the lower rubber mount from the extension case.
The upper mount is loaded when the lower rubber mount
is removed from the extension case, and the excessive load
can damage the upper mount. Hold the outboard motor
securely to prevent it from dropping or becoming
unsteady.

3) Tilt the outboard motor up and hold it in position by
hooking the chain on each engine hanger.
4) Remove the two 8 x 25 mm flange bolts, and remove the
lower mount housing from the extension case.
5) Remove the 6 x 8 mm screw from the extension case, and
disconnect the 116 mm lead wire.
