ivr nat
To explicitly enable Network Address Translation (NAT) functionality for Inter-VSAN Routing (IVR),
use the
ivr nat
command in configuration mode. To disable this feature, use the
no
form of the command.

This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults
Disabled.

The
ivr nat
command allows you to explicitly enable NAT functionality of IVR. Upgrading to SAN-OS
Release 2.x from SAN-OS Release 1.3.x does not automatically enable the Fibre Channel NAT
functionality. This command also allows you to continue to operate in non-NAT mode even in SAN-OS
Release 2.x and later.
Note
You might need to operate in non-NAT mode to support proprietary protocols that embed FCIDs in the
frame payloads.
