ficon port default-state prohibit-all
To set the FICON port default state to prohibit all, use the
ficon port default-state prohibit-all
command in configuration mode. To disable the feature or to revert to factory defaults, use the
no
form
of the command.
ficon port default-state prohibit-all
no ficon port default-state prohibit-all

This command has no arguments or keywords.

Disabled.

You can change the default port prohibiting state to enabled in VSANs that you create and then
selectively disable port prohibiting on implmeneted ports, if desired. Only the FICON configuration files
created after you change the default have the new default setting.
Note
This command is not supported on the Cisco MDS 9124 switch, the Cisco Fabric Switch for HP c-Class
BladeSystem, and the Cisco Fabric Switch for IBM BladeCenter.
Examples
The following example enables port prohibiting as the default for all implemented interfaces on the
switch.
switch(config)#
ficon port default-state prohibit-all
The following example disables port prohibiting as the default for all implemented interfaces on the
switch.
switch(config)#
no port default-state prohibit-all
