Mount MagnaTran 6 BiSymmetrik Arm Set
The MagnaTran 6 Robot’s Arms may be installed on the MagnaTran 7 using the fol-
lowing procedure.
CAUTION
Do not operate the robot until all set-up procedures have been com-
pleted as damage to the robot or arms may result.
To mount the arms to the robot, power connections and communications connections
must be complete and verified. Communication may be through the serial port with
a computer or through the CDM. The following procedure identifies the commands
for both methods.
Arm Removal/Replacement Procedure
1.
Apply power to the robot.
2.
Ensure the arm state of the robot is off.
Issue the following command: SET ARMS OFF
3.
Move the robot to the mount position.
Issue the following commands:
