Document Jams

Remove jammed documents from the scanner following the procedure below.

Procedure

Lift up the top of the scanner until the lock at the

left engages, holding the scanner in the open

position.

Pull the document toward you to remove it.

While lifting up on the top of the scanner,

unlock the scanner by pulling the lever shown in

the illustration in the direction of the arrow.

Close the top of the scanner.

Pull the document slowly. The use of

excessive force may result in damage

to the machine or the original.
