Setting up the Copy Features
The copy features (copying parameters) are defined in the table below. To set up the
copy features, press the <Custom Presets/Meter Check> key, select [Custom Presets],
and then select [Copy Features].

Copy Features
Switch Feature Buttons
Lays out the menus and features on the touch panel.
Default Copy Features
Sets up the copying settings that the system returns to
when the <Clear All> key is pressed.
Media Type for Auto Mode
Specifies the default media type when copying in the
auto mode.
R/E Preset
Defines the preset reduction and enlargement settings.
Variable Length Preset
Sets up the default values for the variable lengths
specified for each media size.
Auto Image Rotation
When media that matches the portrait dimension of an
original is not available, this function will rotate the
image 90 degrees (from portrait to landscape) and print
it on media that matches the image’s landscape
dimension. This feature requires that the width of at
least one media roll is the same as either the length or
the width of the original.
This setting is valid only when [Portrait] is
selected in Auto Mode.
Auto Image Rotation becomes invalid when
any of the following are set up for a job.

Folder
•
Lead/Trail Margin, Image Location,
Scan Start Position, Edge Erase
•
Multi Job
Output Order Preset
Determines whether copies will be printed in ascending
order (first to last) or descending order (last to first)
when sorting is selected.
Program Sort Preset
Sets up the sorting programs.

Presets
Sets up other copy presets.
