TCP/IP
The following TCP/IP communication parameters must be set up.
The communication parameter nomenclature on the printer control panel will
sometimes differ from the nomenclature on Print Services on Web. The Print
Service on Web nomenclature appears in bold type in the table below.

Default Parser
Selects the parser or data format interpreter that will be
used when the input data format has not been specified
from among the available selections, that is, [
HPGL

default setting is [HPGL].
Ethernet Setting
(
Physical Layer
)
Selects the ethernet setting/physical layer. The default
setting is [
AUTO
].

Fixed at 10BASE_T
[
100BASE_T
] Fixed at 100BASE_T
IP Address
The IP address of the machine in the format
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX. The IP address can be
changed, if necessary.
MASK Value
(
Net mask
)
The sub-net mask set up on the machine in the format
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX. The subnet mask can be
changed, if necessary.
E-Net Address
(
Ethernet address
)
Displays the Ethernet address. The value displayed is
unique for the hardware and cannot be changed.
FTP
Determines whether or not to enable FTP. The default
setting is [Enable].
Dynamic Routing
Determines if dynamic routing will be enabled. The
default setting is [ON].
Static Routing*
Determines if static routing will be enabled. The
default setting is [OFF]. Set Static Routing to [ON]
when you need to view the device through a gateway
or router.
