Pulse Current Loads
If the load current exceeds the constant current (current limit) value for even a moment, the constant current
circuits will trigger. Further, if the output power exceeds the rating even for a moment the power limit circuit
will trigger. In these cases, the output voltage will become unstable.
Please take caution so that the peak current does not exceed the current limit value when the load current is
in a pulsing state. This cannot be determined by this device’s ammeter alone due that it only displays the
average output current value.
If the constant current circuit (power limit circuit) is triggered intermittently by the peak current, the CC lamp
or LIMIT lamp will appear dimly lit or blinking.
For this type of load, stability can be improved by connecting high-capacity capacitors to the load in parallel.
