To create the 'Built-in printer' or 'External printer' element and assign it to the

hardware, proceed as follows:
1. Select the 'Operation' task card.
2. In the tree view, highlight the

↑

'Station' with the interface to which the printer is

connected.

3. Open the 'Assign dialog' window.
4. In the 'Assign dialog' window, select 'Built-in printer' or 'External printer'.

In the Hardware tree, the 'RS232 printer' or 'Ethernet printer' element is

highlighted under 'RS232 module (FCA2001)' or 'Ethernet interface'.

5. Highlight the element and click on 'Assign'.

The element is created and assigned to the hardware.
