Flasher Lig ht Relay Tes ting
A 12-volt b attery and auxiliary light are
needed to test the relay. Th e terminals ar e
not mark ed on the relay itself.
1.
I n stall the battery's positive (+) lead to
terminal "49"of the relay.
2. I nstall both of the light's po sitive (+)
leads to terminal "49 a" of the relay.
3. I n stall t he battery's n egative ( － ) lead
and the ligh t's n eg ative (
－
) leads to
terminal "31" o f the relay.
4. Th e lights will flash and th e relay will
make a clicking sound if th e relay is
functioning properly.
Replace the relay if test results do not
match the above.
Ha zard Light Relay Testing
1. Install the battery's positive (+) lead to
terminal "49"of the relay.
2. Install four 21W o f th e light's positive
(+) leads to termin al "49a" of th e relay.
3. Install 3.4W o f the light’s positive (+)
lead to terminal
“ C3 ” of the relay.
4. Install the battery 's negative (
－
) lead
and the light's neg ative ( － ) leads to
terminal "31" of th e relay.
5. Th e lights will flash and the relay will
make a clicking sound if the relay is
fun ctioning properly.
R eplace th e relay
if test resu lts do not match the abov e.

HORN
Description
The horn installs near the right headlamp in
th e engine cover.
The horn is en ergized and alarm w hen the
horn button pushed.
Test
1. Connect the battery terminals to th e
horn terminal.
2. The ho rn alarms, the horn is properly.
Replace th e horn if horn is not alarmed .
