Joint use of position control and draft control
Joint use of position control and draft control is described below taking an example of plow operation.
Set the
traction resistance (plowing depth) of (A) by the draft control lever as shown in the figure below and set the
maximum lowering position of the plow to the tractor (B) with the position control lever (control of maximum
plowing depth).
When the soil conditions are the same as those at the point (A), the plowing depth is kept constant. However, in
hard ground, the draft control attempts the depth of (A’) to keep the traction resistance constant. However, though
the lift arm raises to the position (B’) by the draft traction resistance, when the tractor tries to go across

, the
pilot spool becomes at neutral position the plowing depth should be controlled with the plow lifted by the tractor.

For the link of the position and draft, as described
in the above figure, relative position to the pilot
spool is interconnected with the pilot spool (1
pc.), and movement caused to both links of the
position draft is combined to operate the pilot
spool.
