Description
The fuse b lo cks are located on th e right side
of th e firew all in th e eng ine co mp artment.
The fuse blocks ho ld fuses th at protect
individual circuits in the tractor's
electrical
sy stem.
The fuse b lo cks ho ld a to tal of five fuses.

6) RELAY FOR SAFETY START
Description and Lo catio n
Relay is used to automatically complete
(close) a circuit.
A relay contain s two parts of a circu it. On e
part, th e control circuit, uses curren t to
energize a coil. The o ther p art, the function
circuit, is a sw itch. When en ergized , the co il
of a relay beco mes an electro magnet o pening
or closing a sin gle circu it.
The safety relay u tilizes sing le-po le,
single-throw switch (SPST).
Relay employ s a diode t o direct current in
the con tro l circuit.
The functio n circuit, 2 , is normall y open
when no current is being supp lied to the coil,
1. If a circuit with an SPST relay is
energized with curren t on the tract or, th e
switch becomes closed and the circu it is
completed. The relay is then said to b e
latch ed.
The relay s coil is en ergized when th e range
safety switch , PTO safety switch and mid
PTO sw itch (if installed) are all closed.
