7. TROUBLE SHOOTING
Condition Cause Remedy
1. Brake pedal does not
return smoothly.
(1) Broken return spring.
(2) Brake pedal fastened with rust.
(1) Replace.
(2) Correct with sand paper and supply
grease.
2. Brake does not work
satisfactorily.
(1) Improper adjustment of brake
pedal.
(2) Wear of lining.
(3)
Reversed installed brake ass’y on
the right and left sides.
(1) Adjust the play of the right and left
pedals.
(2) Adjust the brake ass’y.
(3)
Install the brake ass’y properly on
the right and left sides.
3. Brake working
unevenly
(1) Improper brake adjustment.
(2)
Either side of the brake does not
work.
(1) Adjust the play of the right and left
pedals.
(2) Check or adjust.
4. Noise of brake (1) Water mixed in transmission oil or
not used genuine oil.
(1) Change to genuine transmission oil.
