Instrument Panel R emoval
1. D isconnect the negative battery cable
from th e b attery.
2. Remov e the steering wheel.
3. G r asp the instrument pan el and pu ll up
the instrument p anel and disconnect the
three conn ecters and flexib le sh aft from
the instru ment panel.
4. Remove th e instrument p anel.
NOTE:
Keep the grass fa ce o f t he in strum ent panel
up after removal. This will p revent th e
silicon oil in th e fuel level
gauge and
coolant temperature gauges from lea king out
causing the gauges to g ive a fa lse indication
during opera tion.
Instrument Panel Light Replacement
1. Fro m th e back of th e in strument pan el,
rotate th e bulb socket containing the
faulty bulb and pull th e socket fro m the
instrument p anel.
NOTE:
Illu mination bulb s should not b e
inter-changed with indicator/warnin g bulbs.

2. G r asp the faulty bulb , 1, and pull th e
bulb fro m the sock et, 2.
3. Push the replacemen t bulb into th e
socket and install the socket into th e
back o f the instrument panel.
