Use an oh mmeter to test th e flash er light
switch .
1.
With th e switch in th e "OFF" po sition ,
th ere will no t b e continuity betw een any
of the ter minals.
2.
With the sw itch in the
“
R tu rn
”
position,
th ere will be continu ity between
terminals RB and GW.
3.
With the sw itch in the
“
L turn
”
position,
th ere will be continu ity between
terminals RB and GR.
If test results are not as ou tlined above,
replace th e comb in ation switch .

Ho rn Switch Testing
Use an oh mmeter to test th e horn sw itch.
1.
With th e switch in th e "OFF" po sition ,
th ere will no t b e continuity betw een any
of the ter minals.
2.
With the sw itch at the

push
”
position,
th ere will be continu ity between
terminals B and R.
If test results are not as ou tlined above,
replace th e comb in ation switch .

BRAKE LAMP SWITCH
Description and Lo catio n
The master brake switch, 1 , is a single po le,
pullout-plunger ty pe switch.
Th e switches
are located under th e right sid e of th e
operator ’s o n th e master brake linkage. Th e
switch is closed wh en the brak e p ed al is
depressed about 20mm.
When the b rak e ped al is not d epressed, the
switch co ntacts are open.
Adjustment
If the master brake switch is su spected of
being defectiv e, check the adjustment o f the
switch b efore rep lacing. The sw itch also
needs adjusted if removed from the tractor.
To adju st t he switch use the following
procedure:
1.
U sing an ohmmeter connect test leads to
each terminals on th e each switches and
observ e the ohmmeter.
2. Adjust th e brake switch is closed
position by bolt and lock nu t when
depress the brake ped al to 20mm.
