HEADLIGHT SWITCH
Description
T h e h eadligh t switch is lo cated o n the left
dashboard . T h is switch is pull － push ty pe
switch w ith four po sitions as fo llows:
Switch position Condition
1 st
Ligh ts “ OFF ”
2 nd
Side and Tail Lights “ O N ”
3 rd
Side, Tail and H eadligh ts
“ ON ”（ Low Beam ）
4 th
Side, Tail and H eadligh ts
“
ON
”（
High Beam
）
Removal
1 . Pu ll up th e instrument panel.
2 . Remov e the left d ashboard.
3 . Disconn ect th e conn ector from th e
headligh t sw itch .
4 . Unscrew th e screw from the grip and
remove them.
5 . Untigh ten the nut and remov e nut,
washer and switch from the d ashboard.
Inspectio n
Conduct continuity test betw een t erminal
“ B ” and the oth er ter min als at each p osition
of th e switch.
If no continuity is noticed betw een
“ ○ ― ○ ” ,
replace th e switch.
Installation
Assembly o f h ead light switch generally
follows th e disassembly in rev erse.
