<CalUnitPort1>
Port numbers of the cal unit. For an n-port automatic calibration,
n arbitrary (not necessarily consecutive) port numbers must be
specified. It is possible to combine arbitrary (not necessarily
matching) pairs of analyzer and cal unit ports.
<TestPort2>
Example:
CORR:COLL:AUTO:PORT '', 1, 2, 2, 4, 4, 1
Perform an automatic 3-port calibration at the analyzer ports 1,
2, and 4 using the calibration unit's default calibration kit file and
ports 2, 4, and 1 of the cal unit.
Usage:
Setting only
Manual operation:
See
[SENSe<Ch>:]CORRection:COLLect:AUTO:PORTs:TYPE
<CalType>[,
<Characterization>, <TestPort1>, <CalUnitPort1>, <TestPort2>...]
Selects and initiates an automatic calibration at arbitrary test and calibration unit ports.
A progress monitor for the calibration sweeps is displayed.
Tip:
This command is necessary if the analyzer fails to detect the cal unit ports con-
nected to each of its ports (e.g. because of a high attenuation in the test setup). If auto-
detection works you can use the simpler command
.
Suffix:
<Ch>
.
Channel number of the calibrated channel
Parameters:
<CalType>
FNPort | TOSM | FOPort | OPTPort | FRTRans | FTRans |
RTRans | REFL | RSHort | PFNPort | VUOSm | CPUosm
Calibration Type
FNPort
Full n-port (UOSM) calibration
TOSM
Full n-port calibration with characterized Through.
If the selected cal unit characterization does not contain a
Through characterization, the command silently falls back to a
FNPort (UOSM) calibration.
FOPort
Full one-port ("Refl OSM") calibration
OPTPort
"One Path Two Ports" calibration
If the selected cal unit characterization does not contain a
Through characterization, the command will fail.
FRTRans
Transmission normalization, bidirectional
If the selected cal unit characterization does not contain a
Through characterization, the command will fail.
