When connecting a DPX2 sensor package containing two DPX2
sensors:
A maximum of ten (10) DX sensor packages can be cascaded
because 12-2=10.
When connecting a DPX2 sensor package containing one DPX2
sensor:
A maximum of eleven (11) DX sensor packages can be cascaded
because 12-1=11.
Before Connecting Equipment to Feature Port (PX3 Phase I Models)
PX3
Phase I
models have a cap plugged into the FEATURE port when
shipping out of the factory. The cap is intended to protect the port from
connecting to inappropriate equipment. Remove this cap prior to
connecting any equipment to this port.
Note that PX3
Phase II
models do NOT have this cap plugged.
To remove the RJ-45 cap from the FEATURE port:
1. Locate the FEATURE port where the cap is installed.
