Computer Data Backup (Tool Menu)
The following four kinds of setting data can be backed up to a per-
sonal computer. This is a useful function for setting other devices with
the same data. Backing up the setting data is recommended as a
precaution against loss due to data damage or device malfunctions.
Note
Never input the reset signal or turn OFF the power while saving or
loading. Data may be lost, and the V530-R150 may not operate
properly the next time it is started.
Operation Examples for Personal Computers
This section describes data transfer using the Hyper Terminal pro-
vided on Windows 98 and Windows NT4.0 computers. In this exam-
ple, a RS-232C cable is connected to the COM1 port of the computer.
Alter the example to suit your communications software or COM port
number.
Data transfer is performed with XMODEM (-CRC or -SUM) protocol
method. The XMODEM(-1K) protocol is not supported.
Note
Never input the reset signal or turn OFF the power when process-
ing messages for saving or loading operations are displayed.
