Normal
If Normal is selected for the communications mode, it is possible to
communicate with host devices such as personal computers with nor-
mal format via RS-232C.
MON (Monitor) Mode
Receives command inputs, but the reading results are not output.
RUN Mode
Possible to input commands and output the reading results.

Select whether the status of the external device will be checked
while communicating.
None:
No flow control. (Default setting)
RS/CS:
The hardware performs flow control. Use a cable that
connects the RS and CS signals of the V530-R150
and external device. Data is transferred when the CS
signal from the external device is ON.
Xon/off:
The software performs flow control. Data is trans-
ferred according to the Xon/off codes from the exter-
nal device.
Multi Drop: Select when using with multi drop. Turns on RS sig-
nals when data are transmitted.
Note When multi drop is selected, SYS/Multi drop is automati-
cally set to ON.

Set the number of seconds (1 to 120 s) before a timeout error oc-
curs. (Default setting: 5 s)
