Cutting the Cable (when Extending Cable or Connecting a Terminating
Resistor)
Cut the cable perpendicular to the length.
To prevent short-circuits, cut the cable with a sharp blade, such as wire cut-
ters, and be sure that there are no whiskers on the wires.
