11-5 Temperature Input Unit Functions
11-5-1 Moving Average Processing
This function calculates the moving average of the previous eight input values,
and uses the resulting value as the converted data. When the input value fluc-
tuates frequently, the moving average can be used to produce a stable input
value, as shown in the following diagram.

Turn ON the power supply to the Temperature Input Unit.
2.
Double-click the icon of the Temperature Input Unit to be set in the Network
Configuration Window or right-click the icon and select
Parameter - Edit
.
The Configuration Window will be displayed.

Click the tab for the input where moving average processing is to be per-
formed, and select the
Moving Average
Check Box in the
Function Choice
Area.

Return to the
General
Tab Page, click the
Transfer [PC to Unit]
Button to
download the data, and then click the
Reset
Button to reset the Unit.

Click the
OK
Button and exit the window.
