1) Remove the rear right cover.

1) Remove cassette 1, 2.
2) Disconnect the 3 connectors [1] and free the harness from the 4 wire sad-
dles [2].

2) Free the harness from the guide and remove pickup unit 2 [3].
- 1 connector [1]
- 4 screws [2]

8.8.3.1 Removing the Pickup Roller/Feed Roller/
Separation Roller

1) Remove the cassette.
2) Open the right cover (in the case of separation roller).
3) Hold the tab to remove the pickup roller [1]/feed roller [2]/separation roll-
er [3].

Point to note when replacing the feed roller/separation roller
The color of the feed roller/separation roller (roller core) of this machine is
black.
