Please note

: These mobile clients do not support the full functionality of desktop clients (see

2.1

Introduction to Observer clients

on page 11 for more details).

This chapter describes how to use these mobile Observer clients.

2.6.1 Client for iPad

To get the NETAVIS Client for iPad follow these steps:

or go to the iTunes Store and search for "NETAVIS".

Install the Observer app on your iPad.

To use the app:

Start the NETAVIS Client for iPad.

Connect to an Observer server and login.

If you have previously configured a view port layout you will see it and be able to tap on a camera
for a full screen view and access to its archive:

Else you first have to tap

Add layout

, select the desired layout and then add cameras to the

individual view ports. It is possible to add multiple layouts and switch between them using the
arrow buttons or dropdown menu in the middle of the navigation bar:
