To erase an ID number press the button. If an area does not have a unique ID programmed
Windsor will report all such area events using the system ID number. The system ID number
is also used when reporting system events such as a panel tamper. If the ID number is less
than 4 digits leading zeros must be entered. If a circuit is programmed in more than 1
area the system ID will be used in all alarm reports.
If the Guardall format is being used to send alarms to GSR (GuardStation Remote) it is not
necessary to program any Site IDs. If a System ID
18
is programmed Windsor will use this in
place of the Site ID. The area IDs are never used in GSR communications.
17
Area IDs can only be used with the Windsor modem or SmartDial Super v2.8 or later and the Contact
ID format.
18
GSR will identify the System ID as a different customer and there must be a corresponding entry in
the customer database.
