User menu

Area Authority

Any user can be programmed for any combination of areas. For example in a Windsor system
with the system size set to 5 areas a user could be programmed for areas 1,2 and 5. This
would allow the user access only to areas 1, 2 and 5 and only if the keypad being used is
also programmed for those areas. If a user authority is changed to off the user PIN code is
returned to the default value.

User menu

Bypass Authority

Each user can be assigned authority over 1 or more bypass groups. The user must also have
the authority to bypass before Windsor will allow circuits to be bypassed. (See also bypass
limit and circuit bypass groups).

User menu

Once/Day

Normally a user has unlimited access but if the Once/Day option is on then a user PIN code
can only be used to unset once per day. Note that this option allows only one unset
operation in the system not one unset operation for each area.

User menu

Timer

A user can be assigned up to 4 timers. By default all timers are off for a user and the user has
unlimited access. If a timer or a group of timers is assigned to a user then the user code will
only be accepted during the programmed times and days.

Reset User Type

A reset user authority PIN code is only valid for one engineer reset. It is re-validated by
entering the engineer PIN code or alarming an engineer reset circuit.

Access User Type

A user with Access user type authority has no authority for any menu function. The only action
on entry of an Access user PIN code is the keypad TX trigger (door unlock).

ATM User Type

An ATM user can only bypass an ATM group and has no access to normal user functions.
