Windsor 500 Programming Manual - Issue C

EvProg Areas Menu

Vault Timer

This option is only available in the HS event programmer. If the system is set then any
area(s) with the vault timer option on cannot be unset until the programmed vault timer period
minutes after an area is unset. If a user attempts to unset an area which has the vault timer
enabled during the 30 minute unset delay period the message “Timer Control On” will be
displayed. If the vault timer option is on there is no need to program a schedule for the area.

A vault timer area cannot be the first area to be unset.

The following example shows how the vault timer may be used. The default open 1/close 1
times are used and the vault timer is on for the area 2.
