Format
The programmable formats for each number are.
1=ADEMCO
ADEMCO fast format protocol
2=Point ID
ADEMCO point ID protocol
3=Superfast
ADEMCO superfast format protocol
4=Guardall The Guardall PS/2 format
5=Mercury Mercury pager protocol
6=Vodapage
Vodapage pager protocol
The numbers you have programmed in this section will only be used by Windsor if assigned to
the engineering or alarm communicator.
Call Pattern
The call pattern for all communications using SmartDial, SmartComm or any other device
except PAKNET connected on the serial port is shown in the table.

If the same telephone number is programmed for the secondary this effectively increases the
call attempts to 6. This can be increased to 9 attempts by using the dual on primary fail option
(Dual/Backup off).
Alarm comm menu
Dual Alm.Rpt.
Windsor can use dual alarm reporting if the primary route/device fails or as a backup to the
primary reporting. The latter case would be used if the installer required information on reports
sent to a central station. Dual alarm reports can only be sent by SmartDial or a serial port
device such as SmartComm. To enable dual reporting enter the telephone number store to be
used. Windsor can be programmed to always send the alarm data to the dual reporting
number after communication with the primary/secondary or only send the alarm data on
primary/secondary fail.

The dual telephone number can also be used directly by some circuit types. Refer the circuit
options for details. The Dual Alm Rpt option will be ignored if any circuit is programmed
for direct dual number dialling.
