To view or modify the printer options select option 7 from page 2 of the edit menus.

A serial printer or a PC can be connected to the printer port.

The baud rate can be programmed for a printer or PC.

The real time printing option will only be displayed If printer is programmed.

Real Time-Off

On/Off

If  you  select  real  time  operation,  and  you  are  using  the  comms  port  (CON6)  for  alarm
reporting via SmartComm, PAKNET or a  modem, Windsor will only enable real time printing
when all alarm reports have been transmitted. The Windsor UART is set for no parity, 8 data
bits  and  1  stop  bit.  Windsor  uses  the  DSR  line  for  flow  control.  Consult  your  Windsor
Installation manual for connection details.

The printer can be used to print the configuration, the logs or configuration changes. The log
can be printed by any user authorised to view the log. The configuration may only be printed
by the engineer.
