Eng Rst
The action of an engineer reset circuit is to reset the programmed area(s) when the Eng Rst
circuit alarms. This will have the same effect as an engineer logging on and will;
•
Clear the call engineer condition.
•
Reset any customer reset PIN codes.
•
Clear the Engineer reset TX output.

Area Rst
The action of an area reset circuit is to reset the programmed area(s) when the Area Rst
circuit alarms. This will have the same effect as a user logging on and will;
•
Mute the sounders
•
Clear the alarm log (for clear events)
•
Clear the alarm latches (for clear events)
If there are alarm circuits programmed for more than 1 area in the system then the area reset
circuit should be programmed with the same areas.

Key
The action of a key circuit is to set the programmed circuit area(s) when the key circuit alarms
and unset the programmed area(s) when the key circuit clears. Setting and unsetting by a key
circuit is logged in the event log as an auto set/auto unset if the set/unset operation was
successful. If the Log option is on Key circuit changes of state are logged as a "Key Set
Req." (set request) and "Key Unset Req." (unset request). If successful then an additional
message, “Auto Set” or Auto Unset” will also be logged.
