Serial port type menu

Windsor Modem

The Windsor modem may be connected directly to the Windsor serial port. Refer to the
installation manual for mounting details. The baud rate is fixed at 2400

. The Windsor modem

can be used for all engineering communications and alarm reporting in Ademco fast format,
point ID and Guardall formats.

Help menu

Serial port type menu

Mimic

Windsor can report alarm events to the Micromimic graphical mimic interface. All circuit and
system alarm events will be reported in real time. The baud rate for mimic is fixed at 1200.
Selecting mimic will disable real time printing.

Hardware menu

Plug On Comm

The plug on communicator (CON4/7) is used to connect to a STU. Windsor identifies the plug
on communicator as device number 17
