Windsor 500 Programming Manual - Issue C

Comms menu

Eng Comm

An engineering communicator can be connected on the Serial or Printer ports (v3.00 only) .
There is a choice of serial port devices (see hardware/serial port). The printer port device is
always a PC. The engineering communicator can be used for all downloading operations.

0=Type

There are 6 eng comm menu options.

1=Eng Num
2=Operations
3=Ring Count
4=Dble Call
5=Auth. Code

If you do not use an engineering communicator program the type as off.

This number will only be used by Windsor if call back is configured. Windsor will use the
normal 3 attempt call pattern (6 when using PAKNET) when connecting to the engineering
telephone number.

viewed/modified by selecting 2 from the engineering communicator menu.
