Audio
This option only applies to Windsor 500 (PC820).
The volume of the Windsor audio (Loudspeaker) output can be adjusted from a keypad. This
adjustment only sets the level of non-alarm tones. The non-alarm tones are;
•
Entry and Exit tones
•
Warnings
•
Chime
All alarm tones will be at the maximum volume irrespective of the audio volume level set for
non-alarm tones. To set the audio volume select the audio option from the hardware menu.

A level of zero will disable all non-alarm tones.

Microphone
This option is only available in v3.00.
Each of the AV60 microphone inputs can be programmed for a Windsor area. To program the
microphone areas enter the microphone number and then the area number. Any number of
microphones can be programmed in the same area.

When the programmed area(s) sets Windsor will arm the programmed AV60 microphone
channels.

Ctrl PCB Type
This option only applies to Windsor Mark 1 (PC787).
There are two types of Windsor main PCB. Early production samples are identified as PCB
type 1 and the current build is type 2. The type 2 main PCB has additional links (LK7, LK8 and
LK9) and the case and sounder tamper inputs are connected to different pins on the Windsor
microcontroller. For this reason, if the incorrect PCB type is programmed, the case and
sounder tampers will be incorrectly reported. To view or modify the control PCB type
select option 5 from the hardware choices menu.
