programmed sounder duration and if a line fault occurs during this time the sounder will be
turned on for the remainder of the programmed sounder duration. An area with standby
will still be auto reset in the normal way at the end of the sounder period. The standby option
will be ignored if Home Set applies.
Standby only applies to NA, ER and 24Hr (when set only) circuit types and all tamper types
when set.

The entry sequence is as follows;
•
The audio and keypad bleepers (if programmed) will sound the entry tone for the
programmed entry period (this is programmed for the entry circuit).
•
If the area(s) is not unset by the end of the entry period there is a fixed extension
period of 50% of the programmed entry time. During this time the tone changes to
a problem tone.
•
At the end of the entry warning period Windsor will log the entry alarm but there will
be no sounder, audio and strobe indication unless the area is programmed for
entry alarm.
An entry alarm TX output may also be programmed for each area. This output will be
activated irrespective of the Ent Alm option.

If a NA or 24Hr circuit is activated during the entry period then Windsor stops the entry timer
and gives a pre-warning alarm for a fixed period of 45 seconds. A pre-warning alarm is the
normal circuit response but the communicator is not triggered. All circuits which cause a pre-
warning are logged as “ Pre-Warning”. If any circuit alarms during the entry warning period
then no pre-warning is allowed.

P.Set Delay
The sounder delay and standby can be programmed to operate only if all areas are set. If the
part set delay option is off for an area and the system is not set then the sounder response will
be instant.
