Windsor 500 Programming Manual - Issue C

Site ID

Windsor can be programmed with a site identification number of up to 8 digits. The site ID is
used to uniquely identify a specific Windsor. There are 3 uses of the site ID.

1. If engineer reset is programmed (without the Managed Reset option) then Windsor will
display the site ID to the user when an engineer reset is required (see Reset/Areas/Area
n/Eng Rst for more details).

2. When the Windsor configuration is stored on a SmartCard the configuration is identified
automatically by the site ID.

3. When Windsor is communicating with GSR (GuardStation Remote) the panel is normally
identified by the site ID. If the panel is sending an alarm report and a System ID is
programmed then the system ID will be used in place of the Site ID.

Windsor can be programmed with a service telephone number of up to 12 digits. The service
telephone number is displayed to the user when an engineer reset is required. To view or
modify the service telephone number select option 4 from page 1 of the edit menus.
