Windsor 500 Programming Manual - Issue C

There are 3 TX reset options.

1=Euro
2=ACPO

TX reset menu

Euro

If Euro reset is programmed Windsor will reset all circuit TX outputs unconditionally.

TX reset menu

ACPO

The ACPO TX reset option only applies to TX channels which are triggered by NA, ER and
24hr circuit alarms, entry alarms and all types of tamper.

When the ACPO reset TX option is on then all TX channels triggered by any of the above
event types will be cleared unconditionally when a user unsets. If the channel has been
activated by a system tamper (bell, sounder, concentrator or keypad) then an ACPO reset will
only clear the TX channel if the system is unset.

Note that if a user selects the reset option then all area and all system TX channels will be
reset.

TX Rst Warn

If the TX Rst Warn option is programmed then, 30 seconds after an ACPO reset, Windsor will
give an audible response on the internal sounder and keypad bleepers. The audible response
will remain on until a user logs on. When a user logs on the engineer reset prompt will be
displayed. Note that engineer reset must also be programmed.

Fire A.Rst

Circuits programmed as fire types are not normally auto reset. However, if fire reset is on
Windsor will attempt to auto reset fire circuits.

Tam Uns Rst

Tamper alarms when unset do not normally require an engineer reset. However if tamper
unset reset is on (together with the tamper engineer reset option) then Windsor will require an
engineer reset if an unset tamper alarm occurs.

230v A.Rst

This option affects the duration of the mains fail audible response (230v Warn. on). Normally
(option off) the mains response is timed for the programmed sounder duration. If the 230v
auto reset option is on then a mains failure will result in an audible response which is timed for
2 minutes. The mains fail TX output will be reset when the mains power is restored.
