All of the following configurable parameters apply to whether the port is connected to a Primary Rate
ISDN circuit or a channelized T1 circuit.

Clears performance information for the selected port

Errored Second (ES) is a second with one or more error events OR one or more Out Of
Frame events OR one or more Controlled Slips

ES

Bursty Errored Second (BES) is a second with more than one, but less than 320 error
events

Severely Errored Second (SES) is a second with 320 or more error events OR one or
more Out Of Frame events

EFS

Severely Errored Frame Second is a second that contains four consecutive errored
framing patterns.

OFC

Loss of Frame Count is a count of seconds in which a valid framing pattern could not
be obtained.

C

SS

Controlled Slip Second

U

AS

Unavailable Second is a second in which the T1 was not available for use (due to
outage, alarms, etc.).

L

CV

Line Code Violation indicates a mismatch in line coding (AMI or B8ZS) somewhere in
the network and is determined by receiving an invalid line violation (bipolar violation).

P

CV

Path Code Violation is a received error in the frame synchronization bit (for SF
framing) or a CRC error (ESF framing).

L

ES

Line Errored Second is a second in which an error was received on the T1.
