TSQ 9000 Hardware Manual

Thermo Scientific

4- Pin Feedthrough



To replace the 4-pin feedthrough:

1. Shut down your system by following the steps in

“Shutting Down the TSQ 9000 System”

page 127

2. Slide the left hand front and top cover panels toward the back of the instrument and lift

them off.

3. Disconnect the electrometer board cable

4. Disconnect the four wires from the front 4-pin feedthrough if you need to change it.

Note

You do not have to remove the ion source cartridge or the column. However, you

must vent the instrument.
