Performing Routine Maintenance

Removing the Ion Source Cartridge for Cleaning

TSQ 9000 Hardware Manual

Thermo Scientific

a. With your hand around the stainless steel barrel, twist the tool until the alignment

groove at the end of the barrel aligns with the left screw around the slot vacated by
the vacuum interlock knob.

b. Twist and push the stainless steel barrel to the right until it clicks into place under the

screw at the top of the slot.
