6. Disconnect the four wires that go to the collision cell and quadrupole 3. These wires are

attached to the rear 4-pin feedthrough in the vacuum manifold.

7. Remove the collision gas tube from the collision cell.

8. Use a T20 Torxhead screwdriver to remove the four screws around the manifold door.

Note

Pull straight back from the collision cell to prevent damage to the collision gas tube.

Note

Remove the screws completely so that they do not scratch the manifold when you

close the door.
