Replacing Components of the Source Exchange Tool

8. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to pry the metal clip out of the bottom of the barrel.

9. Tilt the barrel and the bushing will fall out into your hand. If you are not replacing the 

seal, skip steps 10-12.

10. Push the interior shaft back down in to the barrel until the seal falls out through the other 

end of the barrel. As the seal comes out of the barrel, make a note of its orientation, so 
you will know how to put it back in. Replace the seal, if necessary.

11. Insert the flared end of the seal into the end of the barrel.

Note  

The clip could spring out when you remove it. Be sure to cup your hand over it as it 

falls or you could easily lose it.
