Removing the Ion Source Cartridge for Cleaning

Thermo Scientific

3. Separate the repeller nut, ion volume-repeller insulator, and repeller.

4. Clean the ion source cartridge as instructed in

Cleaning Durable Components

Reassembling the Ion Source Cartridge

1. Place the ion volume-repeller insulator on the repeller and hold it in place with the

repeller nut. Set it aside for now.

2. Insert the ion cartridge sleeve into the source holder.
